MJHS Boys' Basketball Reminder
Good luck to our boys' basketball teams as they have a home game tonight at 6:00pm against Casey. 7th grade players need to arrive at 5:00pm dressed and ready. For 7th grade ticket holders, the gate will open at 5:45pm and close at 6:15pm. 8th grade players will arrive at 7:00pm, dressed and ready to report to Coach Whitmore's room. After the 7th grade game, a notification will be sent out (like this one) via Marshall Schools App when the doors will open for 8th grade contest spectators. Don't forget your tickets and mask. 7th grade scholastic bowl ticket holders may begin to enter McNary Gym Lobby on parking lot side at the high school for admission into the scholastic bowl match. Good luck Lion Cubs!!
MJHS Volleyball Reminder
Good luck to our girls' volleyball teams as they have a home game tonight at 4:30pm against Oblong. 7th grade players may stay after school and sit in the gym lobby with their coach to prepare for their game. For 7th grade ticket holders, JHS doors will open at 4:15pm. 8th grade players may arrive at 5:15pm, dressed and ready, and report to the JH library. After the 7th grade match, a notification will be sent out (like this one) via Marshall Schools App when the doors will open for the 8th grade contest spectators. Don't forget your tickets and mask. We want to wish our JH Lion Cubs Scholastic Bowl Teams good luck on their home opener against Martinsville at 4:15pm located in the Marshall High School cafeteria. This evening the 8th grade team will compete first at 4:15pm. Doors will open for 8th ticket holders at 4:00pm. Due to additional snow, Marshall Schools will be closed today, Thursday, February 18.
JH Scholastic Bowl competition scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, February 18) against Jasper County has been cancelled. Make-up date will be April 22. Scholastic Bowl will have practice tomorrow after school until 4:00pm in the library.
Barring further weather developments, Marshall Schools will be open on Thursday. Bus Drivers have made calls if an alternative pick-up point is needed.
Marshall Schools will be closed again on Wednesday, February 17.
