My name is Mrs. Jeanice Scamihorn and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! I am a Marshall native and I married my husband Jay in 1992. We have three adult children: Sydney, Ben, and Paige. We both feel blessed to live in our community.

I graduated from Indiana State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught in Title I for 12 years before moving to 3rd grade 3 years ago. It is my goal as your child's teacher to promote character and academic excellence within my classroom and that most of all we are a FAMILY. I am looking forward to a great year!
